Our Building with Lime Workshops are three day practical training sessions to help participants understand the basics of working with lime products. We offer practical, hands-on experiences, working with traditional lime mortars, plasters, and paints, in real working situations.
We try to limit our class size so that each person can feel free to bring their questions with you and discuss their concerns with us and with the other class members. Please bring your questions with you!

†How to perform a Basic Mortar Analysis and how to achieve a mortar match.
†How to mix and make Traditional Lime Putty Mortars
†The basics of repointing Brick and Stone Masonry
†Traditional Lime Plastering on both wood lath and masonry substrates.
†The making and application of traditional lime finishes including lime wash and naturally hydraulic lime paints
†How to use reversible natural patching materials in order to replicate brick or stone.
†Injection Grouting and Gravity Fill with Lime.
